Cascina Luisa Payment and Cancellation Policy

1. General conditions

These general contract conditions apply to the rental of the Maria, Guido and Delia apartments at Cascina Luisa, situated in Via Castagna Alta 1, Calosso, Piedmont, Italy.

All apartments are fully equipped for self-catering with a full kitchen with refrigerator, and a full bathroom. Guido also has an oven, dishwasher in the kitchen and a washing machine in the bathroom. There are enough pots, pans, plates, glassware, cutlery, etc. for the number of people allowed in each apartment.

2. Prices

Prices are per apartment and in Euros. The price includes bed linen, towels and all utilities. Meals and cleaning fees are not included.

Any additional use of coffee, tea, sugar, spices, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper etc. in addition to what is present in the apartment upon arrival, must be purchased and paid for by the guests.

Cleaning is not included. Sheets and towels are changed once a week for stays beyond 7 nights.

Any other services, if any, that are added during the stay must be paid for before departure.

3. Payment terms

The pre-payment of 50% of the total rent amount must be paid no later than 14 days before the start of the rental period. The final amount must be paid no later than 3 days before the start of the rental period.

If the prepayment or final amount has not been received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • If the guest cancels the booking 15 days or more before check-in, the pre-payment will be refunded at 100%.
  • If cancellation is received 7-14 days before check-in, the pre-payment will be refunded at 50%.
  • If cancellation is received less than 7 days before check-in, the pre-payment will not be refunded.
  • Any cancellation of the reservation must be communicated in writing via email (admin@cascinaluisa.com).
  • If the guest does not check into the apartment (no-show), or the check-in is delayed, the guest is not entitled to any refund, likewise, if the guest chooses to leave before the rental period expires.

5. Number of people

Only the number of people for whom the apartment is booked can use the apartment. Day guests are permitted with a 24-hours advanced notice.

6. Check-in and check-out

Check-in time is between 3pm – 10pm on the day of arrival. Please inform Cascina Luisa of you expected time of arrival.  Check-out time is by 12pm on the day of departure.
Check-in and check-out times can be arranged and adjusted directly with Cascina Luisa.

7. Guest obligations before check-out

Guests are requested to empty the refrigerator, wash the dishes and empty the trash cans before leaving the apartment. Guests should remove bedding and leave used sheets and towels on the bathroom floor.

8. Responsibilities and requirements

The guests are responsible for any damage that the guest or other members of the travel party cause to the property due to their act or negligence. Cascina Lusia is not responsible for any loss, damage or personal injury that guests may suffer during their stay.

9. Other matters

All apartments in Cascina Luisa are non-smoking. Neither smoking nor vaping is permitted in the apartments. Smoking and vaping are permitted in the courtyard, away from the house. A €200 additional cleaning fee may be charged for smoking or vaping in the apartments.

Quiet hours are from 22:00 until 08:00. Visitors are not permitted on the property during this time.

Pets (dogs and cats) are allowed, with prior approval from Cascina Luisa, based on number and size (weight) of the pets

10. Documentation Requirements

All guests are required to have a valid – unexpired –  ID. Each guest is required to share a copy of the document with Casina Luisa on the day of arrival or before that date, regardless of age.

The documents will be uploaded to the Police Headquarters website, in compliance with current Italian laws and regulations.

The documents will then be destroyed and not stored in accordance with privacy requirements in the European Union.
